You say we dont pay taxes....now let me see..ok perhaps we dont pay income tax....but i believe thats only normal since its NOT korea paying us our income...We work overseas and have our income paid by the respective companies....However, my parents and I have been paying our taxes to our countries....In fact, my parents have been paying taxes in both countries because of the fact that my dad is such a patriot.....I've lived in 8 countries in the past 23 years....in all those countries, we have continued to pay our taxes.... whatelse were you on about? having to live in korea? Do you realize what you are talking about? Si fort devant les faibles et si faible devant les fort.... c'est drole.... 백당시기님의 글 ------------------------------------ 국가의 요건이 여러가지가 있지만 그중에 국민이 있다. 국민의 요건은 무엇인가? 무엇보다도 생활공동체, 운명공동체여야 한다. 그런점에서 한국에 살지도 않고, 한국에 살 의지도 없고, 한국.한국인들과 공동운명체도 아닌 외국거주 영주권자들이 참정권을 행사한다는 것은 사리에도 맞지 않고 실질적으로도 맞지 않다. 한국의 운명이 미국이나 중국에 살면서 그 나라의 살고있는 자신의 입장고 처지와 이익을 반영하는 영주권자들이 한국에 간섭하고 영향을 미치는 작태에 이르고 보니 한심하다는 생각밖에 들지 않는다. 왜 내 밥상에 남들(한국에 살지도 않는 영주권자들)이 숟가락을 놓는다. 굳이 한국의 운명에 영향을 미치는 참정권을 가지려면 국적으로 한국이라는 끄나풀이 있으니 적어도 한국에 거주하는 기간이 절반이상은 되어야 할 것이다. 한국에 기여하는 세금도 국방의무도 하지 않는 영주권자들이 전직 한국인이었다는 이유만으로 과도한 영향력을 행하려하는 작태는 정말 말도 안된다. ------------------------------------
