Although this suspected case received international media attention, NPDPSC determined that the cause of death was not due to vCJD. As of June 2008, the total number of vCJD cases identified in residents of the United States is three; all of which were epidemiologically linked to likely exposures to cattle products contaminated with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE, commonly known as “mad cow disease”)while residing in the United Kingdom (2 cases) or Saudi Arabia (1 case). The NPDPSC was established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in collaboration with the American Association of Neuropathologists for the purpose of enhancing national surveillance of human prion diseases such as classic CJD and vCJD. US physicians are encouraged to utilize the diagnostic services of the NPDPSC to confirm all clinically suspected and diagnosed cases of CJD and vCJD. (NPDPSC) ruled out the presence of (vCJD) as the cause of death the presence of vCJD = vCJD의 존재 한마디로 그 사망한 여자는 변형프리온에 감염 되있었다.. 하지만 인간광우병으로 발달하지 않고 다른 병으로 사망했다가 핵심입니다... 그래서 결과적으로 미국내 인간광우병으로 인한 사망한 환자는 아직도 3명.. 무슨뜻이 냐구요?? 제가 예를 하나 들겠습니다.. 한 병원에 환자가 하나 있었습니다.. 아주 유명한 암전문 병원입니다.. 이 환자는 병원이 의료미스를 하는 바람에 폐암 말기로 3달 밖에 못삽니다.. 그래서 병원은 의료미스를 숨기기 위해 그 환자가 죽기 하루전에 청산가리를 투여해서 죽임.. 사망원인은?? 암으로 죽은게 아님.. 독극물 중독으로 사망 그래서 이 병원은 아직도 암때문에 죽은 환자가 없는 암 전문 병원입니다.... 아직도 긴가 민가 하시죠?? 그러면 제가 다른 문장으로 설명해드리겠습니다.. rule out the presence of vCJD as the cause of death.
